BHW 6 - Special Edition

This is a special, limited edition of the HW 6, which comes in Black Hornwood!

When we developed the HW6 tipper we thought of different aspects: The conical shape prevents it from slipping through your hand, along with a central ring that helps with the grip. The stick is thicker and therefore heavier at the two ends, so rotating is easier. This allows for a nice momentum which helps for a flowing beat but is not so heavy that control is impaired. Olive wood.

Steamed beech rotary cut veneers made exclusively from Central European beech are impregnated with resin solutions and processed here in Germany into Black Hornwood. 

Very high pressure and heat are used to fuse the veneers into this very dense and durable wood-based material. This manufacturing technique preserves the chemical and microscopic structure of the wood.
